Using a Big Voice

Read and talk about these examples:

• When someone grabs a toy from you, you say: I don’t like it when you grab something from my hand. Please ask me for a turn.
• When someone pushes in front of you in line for the slide at the playground, you say: I don’t like it when you cut in line. Please get in line behind the last person.
• When your little brother scribbles on your paper, you say: I don’t like it when you mark on my paper. Please ask Mom for a paper of your own.
