Point to the photo of the heart. Say: Your heart helps pump blood to your body. Jog in place vigorously for one minute. Then have your child press an ear against your chest. Ask: What do you hear? Invite your child to feel your pulse. Ask: What do you feel?

Point to the photo of the stomach. Say: Your stomach helps you digest food. Digest means that your stomach changes food so your body can use it. Say: Imagine your stomach could talk. What might it say when you eat something cold? Something delicious?
